1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and Grindshame ("we", "us", or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the Grindshame application and website. By accessing the Site, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms of Service.

2. Service Description

Grindshame is an accountability tracking platform. The service monitors user activity via third-party integrations (such as GitHub and LeetCode) and internal logging tools to verify goal completion.

By using the service, you acknowledge that the accuracy of our tracking depends on the data provided by these third-party APIs. We are not responsible for downtime or data inaccuracies originating from GitHub, LeetCode, or other external providers.

3. User Representations

By using the Site, you represent and warrant that:

• All registration information you submit will be true, accurate, current, and complete.
• You will not access the Site through automated or non-human means, such as scripts or bots, to falsify activity data.
• You will not use the Site for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

Anti-Fraud: Any attempt to manipulate system clocks, spoof API requests, or automate "fake work" to maintain a streak is a violation of these terms and may result in immediate account termination.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

We bill via our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. By subscribing to a Pro plan, you agree to pay the fees indicated at the time of purchase. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the dashboard. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Social Features & Liability

Grindshame includes social features that allow you to share your progress (and failures) with invited peers. By using these features, you explicitly consent to the sharing of your activity data with the specific users you have authorized.

We are not liable for any social consequences, embarrassment, or reputational damage resulting from the accurate reporting of your activity data to your invited peers.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event will we or our directors, employees, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profit, lost revenue, loss of data, or other damages arising from your use of the site.
